It is the world’s most famous half marathon event, attracting over 80000 spectators over the length of its course, in addition to a wide television audience. It began in June 1981 and runs between Newcastle upon Tyne and South Shields. The official website is here
Now in its 26th year, the Bath half-marathon is a flat course that starts at finishes in Great Pultney Street, one of the widest Georgian boulevards in Europe, and attracts crowds of 10000-15000 spectators. It is usually held in March. More info at here
Usually run in September, this race was first held in 1989. Its scenic course starts and finishes in Bristol’s historic Harbourside, passing twice under Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. See webpage for more details: here
This race is unusual in that it takes place on an automobile racetrack, the world-famous Silverstone motor racing circuit. The home of the British Grand Prix, this circuit provides as ideal a racing surface for runners as it does for cars. More at here
